101.1 TTD No. 100 - Reach 100 years of age

The worlds oldest person, an American lady by the name of Edna Parker, has died at the age of 115. This means the new official oldest person is now Maria de Jesus of Portugal who was born in 1893 – she is currently 105 years of age, although Mrs. Amash of Israel, claims she is currently 120 years old, although her revelation has not yet been authenticated. It's handbags at dawn, dears ... may the oldest person win.

101 Rules Revision

I often get emails asking me to clarify some of the 101 Things to Do Before You Die in the book, so I thought I should add a couple more rules to put an end to any confusion. The RED rules in red below are new additions:

• Perform as many Things To Do as possible in your lifetime.

Always carry this book with you. (a Thing To Do may present itself at an unexpected moment).

Take risks. Some of the Things To Do in this book cannot be accomplished without a little courage.

Be creative. It may take a bit of ingenuity to complete some of the Things To Do.

Be patient. Some Things To Do can’t be completed until later in life.

Be quick. Fill out the form as soon as you’ve completed a Thing To Do, before you forget the details.

If at first you don’t succeed, keep trying. Some Things To Do may take a few attempts to complete.

Push yourself. Do Things you would normally avoid doing.

Above all, have fun. The Things To Do are a supplement to your daily life.

• Take the opportunity.

Think outside the box. You may need to take an alternative look at some of the Things To Do to before completing them

Use your Best Judgement. Some Things may not be your cup of tea. Feel free to alter to your taste.

• Be honest.
If you lie you'll only be lying to yourself.

101.2 TTD No. 37 - Write lyrics for a song ... Quantum of Solace - Proposed Theme

Every Saturday Morning I listen to Adam and Joe on the BBC's digital Radio 6 show. Every other week they perform songs for song wars on a selected theme which are then voted on. A few weeks back, before the real Quantum of Solace theme was released they wrote there own Bond theme. Here is Joe's put to pictures ... some of the comments are great on You Tube, some people thought that it really was a proposed Bond theme. How many movie themes do you know that feature the word 'Man Tits'? ...Enjoy.

Here's Adam's version that actually won ...

Radio Silence

Apologies for this Blog turning into a Cob-Web over the last month or so, but I took a break from my latest project with the holiday I've always wanted to do ... a visit to Japan.
(The project, Let's call it 'Project A', has already taken a year to produce and I've still got 3 months until the deadline, It's a departure from the 101 books ... more to follow in the near future)

But for now, I'm back and tied to my desk again for the big push on the Project A and with a possible fifth 101 book in the pipeline, completing some of the things may have to go on the backburner for the time being ...
