101.1 TTD. 16 - Be in the Guinness Book of World Records

Well I never thought two empty halves of coconuts would get me into the record books but they have.

23rd April 2007 - St Georges Day, Trafalgar Square

I, and 5,566 other people "clip-clopped" into the record books with a very silly World record. We formed the World's Biggest Coconut Orchestra.

As part of St. Georges Day the Mayor of London showed 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' on a massive screen in the middle of Trafalgar Square, this was preceded by the World record attempt.

5,567 of us filled out our forms, collected our coconut hooves, then followed the instructions in a short film featuring Michael Palin to demonstrate how to use your hooves. It was really difficult to master as you can see...

So after half an hour of practicing we had to clip-clop in unison to 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' led by Monty Pythons two Terrys, Jones and Gilliam. Needless to say we blew New York's previous record of 1,789 out of the water, and hopefully it'll stand for a long long time. So I've finally made it into the Guinness Book of Records without cheating!

Haha, that's awesome! I recently completed this one as well. Last week in fact! Me and hundreds/thousands (not really sure) of other Swedes blew up over 530,000 balloons in an hour.

BTW, it would be AWESOME if you'd leave a comment on one of the things I've completed, like the record one! Please do that!
